Module 4: Communication skills and Language barriers

This module discusses the theme of COMMUNICATION. Communication is an essential feature of all human interaction and in the current context of this module, we discuss communication as a means of integration. The module discusses the elements of communication, the importance of communication and the different context in which it occurs, and the link between communication and culture. This module also looks at the pivotal role a sports coach has in encouraging integration through communication. Finally, the module outlines the barriers of communication and how these can be overcome.
